Clarksville Indivisible is hosting an emergency vigil to confront the growing corruption scandals enveloping the Trump administration.
And yet Trump’s collusion to cover up the Putin regime’s ongoing attacks on U.S. elections is only a small part of the corruption scandals surrounding this administration: separating families at the border and detaining children in jail; attacking the free press and the rule of law; rampant conflicts of interest; and nominating for the Supreme Court a candidate who argues that U.S. presidents should be above the rule of law.
This action will be one of more than 100 taking place Wednesday evening across the country to confront corruption and demand democracy. Please bring a candle for the candlelight vigil – or else download a free candle app on your phone. Appropriate signs are also welcome. But most of all, please turn out!
We'll meet at the fountain in the Downtown Commons in Clarksville, TN, across from the Regions Building. Republican congressmen Marsha Blackburn whose politics align with Trump (and is currently running for Senate, btw) has an office inside the Regions Building.
