Indivisible Whidbey Confronts Corruption

Note: please check facebook invite for any last minute changes.

Please carpool if you can,  parking will be limited.

We will gather at the small public park on east side of ferry landing at 8pm. After brief instructions, we will walk on the 8:35 ferry together.  Once the boat is moving,  we will gather on the passenger deck and peacefully chant and sing, and use phone apps or flameless candles for our vigil.  We will hopefully meet other demonstrators at Mukilteo who will join us in boarding the return ferry and repeating the program.

Notice: This is an act of civil disobedience which we believe is warranted.  We also believe it is low risk.  But it is possible that we could be ticketed,  and we want to let everyone know that in advance.  We plan a non-violent, peaceful demonstration.

By choosing to attend this event, you are committing to participate non-violently and in accordance with the law, to work to de-escalate confrontations with others, and to behave lawfully to ensure the safety of event participants.  You also acknowledge that you are solely responsible for any injury or damage to your person or property resulting from or occurring during this event, and that you release all event sponsors and organizers (and their officers, directors, employees, and agents) from any liability for that injury or damage.
