Democracy is how we hold wrongdoers accountable and create a government that reflects our values of inclusivity, justice and decency.
These vigils, happening across the country, will also serve as the public launch of a new coalition effort known as the Declaration for American Democracy, an initiative to build support for a suite of reforms to create a political system that works for all of us, not just the privileged and the powerful.
We hope you’ll join us on July 18 to show the people power behind the fight for democracy, humanity and morality.
We will meet at the corner of Georgia Avenue and Emory Lane.
